Friday

  • 11 AM-Noon: Mounted/Chariot Archery Workshop – Suitable for all levels and non-mounted archers interested in mounted or chariot archery. Bring your own equipment—there may be a very limited amount available to borrow.
  • 3:30-5:30 PM Queen’s Champion and Angel’s Baronial Championship (to be confirmed) – OPEN TO ALL RIDERS (IN OR OUT OF KINGDOM). Riders come to demonstrate their martial and horsemanship skills. Her Royal Highness and the Baroness of Angels will be selecting their Champions from among those Caidan riders wishing to ride for their honor.

Saturday

  • 10-Noon: Jason and the Golden Fleece Tournament – The West will be hosting a celebration of their Golden Anniversary designed to be a robust challenge of cooperation, horsemanship, gallantry, and grace. Details to be announced soon.
  • 1-2 PM: “How did you make that?” – Come hang out over lunch in the shade and share how you have made equipment, barding, any and all of those amazing things that everyone asks you “How did you do that?!”
  • 3-4 PM: Driving Class – Golden Lance Ariadnne will be bringing her cart and is happy to share driving techniques. She has been driving and training horses and ponies to drive for years and is excited to share her knowledge of this period alternative to riding.
  • 5 PM: Grand Court starts

Sunday

  • 10-11 AM Celtic Challenge – A thrilling quest-based mounted tournament that puts the speed and balance of its competitors to the test with extra points being awarded for riding bareback and dressing Celtic.
  • 11 AM-TBD Pato (Horse Ball) – Come play the exciting game of Pato, or horse ball! The object is to get the “ball” (fluffy beanie baby) into the net, but you have to get it past the mounted guard who can block it with their sword. It can be played in teams or with individual scoring, depending on the desires of the participants.
  • 2 PM-TBD: Jousting Lyst

Monday

  • 9 AM-Noon: Tear Down / Clean Up – We welcome any and all who can spare even a short amount of time to help pull down all the panels for the arena and stalls. We especially need extra hands once the corrals start coming down as horses tied for long periods of time to the trailers while their “parents” are working tend to get restless. The faster we can get everything down, the faster the “furry children” get loaded making them more comfortable and safer.
