About Coursing
"Known as the "Queen's Sport," hound coursing was enjoyed throughout the middle ages by royalty and nobles alike. People would follow the hunt on horseback or watch from the ground, cheering on their favorite hounds as they darted and dashed in pursuit of the hare.
At GWW you and your hound will have a chance to give it a try. Join us for the spectacle of coursing—current middle-ages style—where we'll be recreating the hunt complete with fewterers, huntmasters, agile hounds and a very fake bunny. No hares will be harmed in this recreation, we promise!
