There will be many things for the youth of all ages to do at Great Western War. There will be a full schedule of classes at Youth Point on Saturday and Sunday, youth combat, shopping in merchants, watching the fighting on the battle field, volunteer opportunities (including ringing the war bell), and much more. If you have any specific questions about an activity, please ask the staff at the activity location.

There will be a complete list of classes in the gate book as well as posted on youth point, located near the battle field and merchants row by the sand area. Just look for the purple and white sign.

Intro To Caid Page School: We have a wonderful new program of projects and rewards developed that we are ready to show.

Persona Creation: Where are you from? When are you from? What is your story? Come and make these important decisions.

Heraldry-Device Creation: Design a beautiful, registerable device for your new persona.

Making Catapults/Catapult Competition: Make one of CRAC designed catapults to keep, and then test it out against your peers for points and prizes!

Viking Puppets: Do you get lonely on the long ships during the pillage season? Come to make your own Viking buddy. He'll keep you company on those long trips to England. All are welcomed – even berserkers

Glass Etching: Learn how to etch simple designs on glass using etching cream. Super easy for all ages, but open to teens only! There will be a class limit of ten in the class! Simple stencils, etching cream, contact paper and glass will be provided but feel free to bring your own designs or glass item.(Glass should be smooth with enough space to cut out your design on it)

Rune Boxes: Runes are an ancient alphabet, used for writing, divination and magick. The Viking believed in runes...So come and make a special "Rune" Box" and some runes to go in it!

Flower Fairies/Embroidery: Learn an incredible hand stitch and use it to create a gorgeous flower fairy to take home.

Scented Bath Salts: Do you want to bathe like a price or princess? Then come to this class and create your own beautifully scented and colored salts. Take your custom salts home in a pouch or payered in a jar. Then soak away the dirt of war, or use as a gift.

Period Game Pouches: Running out of games to play while at war? Come to this class and learn a new period game, and of course this game will be transportable! Make the gameboard for Alquerque or Fox and Geese. Two new games to add to your collection. Great games whereever you go.

Period Game Play: Is there a period game you have been wanting to learn and play? Backgammon? Try your skill at any of your games, or one brought to you by the marvelous Inn of the Crimson Spade.
